Seven Nights of Christmas • Dec.20

Beth's family is busy organizing a Pop Christmas party for the coming night.

At a toy store where Mika and Eman are buying giveaways and gifts for the children at the hospital.

"How could a kid realize such thing like that of Beth?" said Mika.

Eman while busy picking toys, "she's no ordinary."

"There's four days left before her most awaited debut..."

"Do you think Beth would like this?" Eman asks Mika while handing a glass ball where a small house is being covered with snow.

"Beth would definitely like that..." said Mika.

Camille has someone with her, they’re about to visit her daughter, quite nervous they enter Beth’s room.

"Beth... I brought Auntie Jacky..." Camille and Jacky come closer to Beth's bed where the kid is rest sitting.

Beth silently stares at them.

"Is there something wrong Beth?" Jacky asked.

"What are you doing here?!" Beth exclaimed.

"Baby... She's here to fix your hair..." gently says Camille.

Beth cried she knew her Auntie was a hair dresser, "I have none!"

"Well... I brought you..." Jacky get a wig from her bag.

"I don't want to wear that!"

Camille then whispers something to Jacky, and she then left.

"Beth... You don't have to be ashamed wearing a hairpiece... This will make you a beautiful debutant..." Camille explains.

"Mom..." Beth can't stop crying, "I would look pathetic... a loser."

"No baby... This would make you more proud... Proud to face and dance with everybody..."

"I would look stupid..."

"No! We bought the one that looks like your old hair..."

Beth then embraced her mother, still crying.

On Doctor Maggie’s office, Miguel is requesting for consent so that Beth can go out of the hospital for them to visit his sick mother on the province.

“Mr Gracia, maybe it doesn’t show but day by day Beth’s condition is worsening, she may surpass her expected…” and then she paused, “I’m sorry, but I cannot grant this request.” She’s dead serious with matters relating to her patient Beth, “I don’t want to take chances with her.”

While on Mika and Eman, they’re checking on the catering they hired for the surprise event. The Gracia’s are blessed with everything, whatever they like would only take a single swipe on their cards. Blessed with all the wealth, Beth’s illness draws back. For a family of five, they’re almost going through this for almost two years now.

With no family background of having this disease every one of them were very shocked when they first knew that Beth, their youngest, would be on a hard path of life at the age of 10. Beth needed to stop her studies at grade 3, leaving friends, leaving her childhood. She needs to face the cruelty of real life, on its worst phase. But despite of all these negative things, Beth never show a single sign of weakness, which makes her family proud of her, believing she can get through with whatever trial on life.

Two years, two long years of battling with her pain, two long years seeking for a cure, two long years praying for a miracle, a miracle cure, a miracle they need, a miracle they longed to have. Two years.

"Merry Christmas! HO HO HO!" Miguel wears a Santa costume while giving gifts to the kids from the hospital.

The night ended very happy for the whole hospital.

Eman gave his gift to Beth, Crystal Snow Ball which makes her very happy and she put it to her desk where a bunch of family photos were present.

On her feet, having difficulties with her standing, she’s managing and trying her very best to show some strength for the kids she’s going to see in a moment.

Standing next to Santa Claus is a girl, a brave girl with her long beautiful hair.
